President's Message

It is my privilege to address you through the MASSMA website at a time when our industry stands at a crucial crossroads. The global landscape is changing rapidly. The ongoing Middle East crisis, volatile raw material prices, evolving Quality Control Orders, and global supply chain realignments have created unprecedented challenges for the man-made textiles and metal processing sectors.

Yet, within every challenge lies an opportunity. The Indian metal industry, with its resilience, entrepreneurship, and skilled workforce, has always risen stronger from adversity. As your apex body, MASSMA remains committed to being the voice of the industry and a bridge between members and policymakers.

Our Immediate Focus

Policy Advocacy: We are actively representing with the Ministry of Steel, BIS, and other authorities to ensure that QCOs and standards are implemented pragmatically, without disrupting MSME units or making us non-competitive globally.

Member Support: Through seminars, vendor development meets, and technical workshops, we aim to equip members with knowledge on new technologies, export opportunities, and compliance requirements.

Future Readiness: Our Long Range Planning Committee is working on a 5-year vision to strengthen infrastructure, digital adoption, and global linkages for our members.

Unity & Collaboration: MASSMA is not just an association, it is a family. Your active participation is our biggest strength. I urge every member to engage, contribute, and leverage the collective power of this platform.

The next decade belongs to India. With the Government’s thrust on “Make in India”, infrastructure growth, and rising global confidence in Indian manufacturing, we have a historic opportunity to scale new heights. Let us work together with transparency, innovation, and integrity to make our industry globally benchmarked.
